- Order by midday for express delivery services.
- Delivery Times are for in stock products. If the product is out of stock we will deliver as soon as it is back in stock within a couple of days.
- All Deliveries are tracked and must be signed for.
- Please note we are unable to deliver on Bank Holidays.
- All orders come beautifully wrapped and packed in our signature packaging, free of charge.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. We may change these Terms & Conditions at any time so please check them carefully whenever you make a purchase.
PAYMENT AND PRICING
Payments go through SagePay. We will only process orders if we are able to obtain authorisation from our credit card processing partner. The price of the goods is stated clearly on our site and are quoted in £ sterling. VAT is added at checkout, unless purchasing from outside the EU in which case no VAT will be added to the total of your purchase. We may change the price of goods at any time.
If an item has been incorrectly priced, we reserve the right to supply the item only at the correct price. If we become aware of incorrect pricing after your order has gone through, we will give you the option of re-ordering the item at the correct price or cancelling your order.
If any of the goods are unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a full refund via your original mode of payment.
Laurence Coste aims to dispatch all items within 3 working days unless there is any doubt about a delivery address or an item is out of stock. We will contact you if that is the case. Please allow 4-5 working days for delivery within the UK and 7-8 working days for International orders. Delivery will be arranged to the address you specify on ordering. The delivery provider is Royal Mail or in some cases DHL. All our items in transit are insured by our business insurance cover.
- UK Express Delivery (Free) - orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days.
- UK Next Day Delivery (£4.99) - orders placed before 3pm will be delivered the next working day before 1pm.
- USA Express Delivery (£10) - orders will be delivered within 5-7 working days.
- Europe Express Delivery (£10) - orders will be delivered within 3-5 working days.
- International Express Delivery (£10) - orders will be delivered within 5-7 working days.
All orders require a full valid postcode. We are not able to deliver to P.O boxes. If you provide an incorrect delivery address, we do not accept responsibility for the failure of an order to arrive. An extra delivery charge may become payable if you are not present to accept delivery. Risk of damage or loss to the goods passes to you on delivery or, if you wrongfully refuse delivery, when delivery is attempted.

DUTIES AND TAXES
VAT (20%) will be applied to orders dispatched within the EU. Non-EU orders are exclusive of VAT whereby the VAT (20%).
Please note that any import duty and taxes incurred for shipping to certain countries are the responsibility of the customer.
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
If you are a consumer, as defined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel within 7 working days of delivery of goods to you. You can do this by email before returning items for a full refund, or before the items are posted (within 3 days).
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, so if you are not entirely satisfied with your online purchase or need to exchange it for a different item please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number, name and address, details of the product, the reason for return, and whether you require an exchange, an in-store credit note or a refund. We will then advise you on how to proceed.
All items bought online must be returned to us within 10 days from the date of purchase and customers will be responsible for the cost of return delivery. Where provided all Laurence Coste packaging should be included in your return. We advise you to send back the item via secure delivery as we do not take responsibility for missing items. We will email you when your item has been received. If you return an item without notification we will simply hold onto it and await your contact.
Returns outside the 10 day period may not be accepted. During the Christmas period we offer an extended return time – the deadline to return Christmas purchases ends on the 21st January. Our Christmas period starts on the 1st December and any purchases made before may not be considered for the Christmas returns.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on bespoke or made-to-order items unless the item is faulty or, pierced earrings if the hygiene tag is removed. If a security tag is removed, the item will no longer be eligible for a refund. Items that appear worn or used will not be refunded and returned to the customer.
Please note our warranty is void if any damage is incurred by the customer, including any damage caused by perfumes, bleaching, heat exposure and general wear and tear. Any repairs due to the above are at the discretion of the company and will involve a charge.
Exchanges and refunds usually only take a few days to process. You will be fully refunded via your original method of payment within 14 days. Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
Returns are accepted if:
- You have emailed us to notify us of your wish to return or exchange the item bought online.
- The item is returned to us within 10 days from the date of your invoice (we make allowances for Christmas and Bank Holidays etc). We allow 14 days for International orders.
- The item is returned to us in the same condition as we dispatched it - unworn, with all the original packaging intact and all tags in place.
Please note that you only need to return the items you wish to exchange or receive a refund for. If an item is missing or damaged, please contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible with your order confirmation number at hand. Laurence Coste cannot accept responsibility for items returned to us without a proof of purchase.
You have 10 days (14 days for International orders) from the day of delivery to return your item along with your original invoice which is enclosed with all orders. Items received outside this time frame will not be eligible for refund. Any credit notes will be at our discretion.
Sale or promotional items are non-refundable.
Please check your item(s) for any faults when you receive them. If the item is faulty, please contact us with your order number and details of the fault, stating whether you require a replacement or refund. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. There will be no postage charge to the customer in the case of replacing a faulty item. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of common wear and tear or customer negligence are not considered to be faulty.
RECEIVING THE WRONG ITEM
If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number, full name and address, details of the product and explaining how this is different from your original order.
A refund for lost items may be dependent upon a business insurance claim (we make sure everything is adequately insured). We will only consider a claim for missing items if it is made within 10 days from the date of dispatch.
COLOURS & STONES
We have made every effort to display the colours of our products that appear on www.laurence-coste.com as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display will be completely accurate. In addition, due to the natural quality of our stones there may be differences in size and form of our stones. All our products are handmade and therefore there may be slight inconsistencies.
UNCOLLECTED OR REFUSED ORDERS
If your order is refused on delivery or uncollected and subsequently returned to us postage may be charged and we will not accept responsibility for lost items as a result.
These T&Cs shall be governed by English law and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. If any part of these T&Cs is deemed ineffective for any reason, the remainder shall continue in full force.
A person who is not a party to this agreement shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of the Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement.
Neither party is liable for failure to perform or delay in performing any obligation (excluding payment) under this agreement if the failure or delay is caused by any circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
