An already well-established boutique jewellery brand, which has been operating for over 15 years, we believe it is time for us to grow our brand and hire the right person to grow the business and help us achieve our ambitious goals. JOB DESCRIPTION :

THERE ARE TWO DISTINCT AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 
1/ MANAGEMENT OF EXISTING BUSINESS. WE HAVE TWO SHOPS IN CENTRAL LONDON AND A SHOP ONLINE. 

-             Support the boutique managers and be the “go-to” person 

-             Drive sales and exceed targets by building a client business, exploring new growth

               opportunities

-             Maximize store efficiency through operations management

2/ BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 
 IDENTIfY THE AREAS WHERE THE BUSINESS CAN BE GROWN AND IMPLEMENT A CLEAR PLAN OF ACTION. KEY AREAS SHALL INCLUDE
- EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENT OF ONLINE PRESENCE 
-EXPLORE COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER BRANDS
- EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITY OF FRANCHISES IN LARGE DEPARTMENT STORES
- EXPLORE RELATIONSHIPS WITH PLATFORMS SUCH AS NET A PORTER
- EXPLORE THE VIABILITY OF ADDITIONAL RETAIL OUTLETS IN BOTH LONDON AND OTHER UK CITIES, SUCH AS MANCHESTER AND EDINBURGH 
- DEVELOP A COHERENT PR AND ADVERTISING STRATEGY.

REQUIREMENTS
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A MINIMUM  OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN BRANDED RETAILING, PREFERABLY JEWELLERY.
SALARY NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE 
PERFORMANCE-RELATED BONUS



This role will require you to take on multiple responsibilities, however, it will also give you a lot of flexibility. We are looking for a self-starter who will be able to identify the right objectives for the business and successfully lead the business to them. This role is also an opportunity for us to invest in the right person with expertise, therefore a successful performer will be getting a commission-based bonus on top of their base salary. This is an exciting opportunity for you to further develop your skills as a Business Developer and for us to explore the potential of our brand.

-             Support the boutique manager and being the “go-to” person
-             Drive sales and exceed targets by building a client business, exploring new growth opportunities
-             Develop potential collaborations, increase online presence and online sales
-             Maximize store efficiency through operations management
What you will do
1.           Driving Sales
-             Drive sales through the implementation of action-orientated business plan (set, monitor, and drive store’s KPIs)
-             Deliver consistent and exceptional customer service through your sales team
-             Develop and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business
-             Network to create key relationships with online retail platforms, brand ambassadors, and explore other strategic collaborations for business growth
-             Set clear sales objectives and KPIs and support ongoing processes to deliver the above
-             Create a clear plan of action for our website (create product lines for the website to drive sales online, ensuring that online collections are created regularly and the availability of the product is maintained)
-             Develop social media plan and help to establish the brand image online via social media, events, and collaborations that would align with the brand image
 
2.           Delivering Efficiency
-             Maintain an accurate stock file
-             Ensuring the online orders and shipped in a timely manner
-             Ensuring the customer e-mails are responded to in a timely manner
-             Delegating certain tasks to other employees and ensuring those tasks are carried out in an effective manner
-             Set objectives for the team and execute visual merchandising in-store to a high standard
What you will bring
-             Passionate about online business, e-commerce, and business development
-             3-5 years of experience as a business developer in retail, preferably in Jewellery industry
-             Commercially aware and target driven

-             Flexibility and ability to adapt (take on extra responsibilities when required)
